Clearaudio is the hi-fi industry's leading proponent of tangential tonearms, which trace the grooves of a record the way the grooves were originally cut - in a straight line. The Clearaudio Tangent has a similar design to the Clearaudio TQ-1 tonearm, but with a simpler mechanism for an excellent price-to-performance ratio.

Records are cut with a linear system and only linear designs can guaranty adequate error-free reproduction. The Tangent tonearm gives you all the technical and design benefits of all the linear tracking tonearms from Clearaudio, but at a very reasonable price. It uses the same Titanium armwand that the TQ-I uses, and even has a set of female RCA jacks on the back, which allow you to use any cable you prefer.
