The best isolation platforms on the market by far are those built by Silent Running Audio (SRA).

Why is that?

Every type of device gives off some kind of resonance. Air bladder platforms work at the expense of high frequencies; wood has it's own warmer character at the expense at inner detail smearing and metal bearings or cones are more clinical sounding.

With these types of platforms their frequency isolation band is limited to one specific harmonic area, where the SRA platforms cover a broad 6 frequency band area also above and around each spike is a hybrid blocked (meaning that its reaction has been chemically stopped) thermal reactive copolymer: a substance that can change its darometer (hardness and softness) in a pre-calculated fashion very quickly.

Prices start at £400 for SRA's VR Class platforms and begin at £900 for their Reference Ohio Class platforms.

SRA's sister company owns the patent and sole contract for the US navy attack class submarines. They use patented, multilayered polymers of six different frequency ranges that do not congregate in any one frequency range. Vibrations made in hifi systems transfer out by way of heat for all vibrations even in the micro level travel through all electrical components such as resisters, capacitors, transformers and the cabinet.
