The Calaf pumps out 200 watts per channel and is a hybrid integrated amplifier with a 6922-based driver section and 40-watt Class A operation, switching into Class A/B thereafter. The Calaf has five remote-switchable inputs: one of them balanced; one set of single-ended pre-outs; damping factor in excess of 1000 and an S/N ratio of 100dB. Opera are soon to preview an optional MM/MC phono board.

An optional MM/MC phono board is in the works. This awesome monster weighs in at a staggering 45Kg and is a class AB design, which is common. However it remains in pure class A until a whopping 40 watts, where other lesser amps switch nearly immediately.
